Snow

Hi Room 2,isn't the snow exciting!!!
I hope you are all warm inside. Aidan, good to see you tried the Ecan site to learn about the wetlands. Today would be a great day to sit some lexile tests. Email me if you need your username and password. If you email me any photos or poems about the snow, I will post them on the blog. sk@waimataitai.school.nz.

Have fun!

You can try doing a lexile on any book you have read. Just put a title into the book quiz search and you might find that there is a quiz on it.

Wow, look at that snow! I am in Auckland and I am always complaining it is cold... but now I see how much colder you must be!! I would be exciting to have the snow but cold as well... I wonder if you will get a day off school if it snows too much...

I am really impressed that you have snow photos here already. I took some photos on my phone to send to my brother in Invercargill, despite what people think it snows more in Timaru than Invercargill. I don't think I have ever seen such large snowflakes. Does anyone know why snow flakes appear to be different sizes?
