Hi Abigail,

How are you? It is great to hear from you. It sounds like it is really hot over there. That is 36 degrees celsius. Today we are expecting a high of 7!! It is also meant to snow!
What other things have you been doing?
We have been learning about voice threads and for art we have been making some paper mache bowls. We will put some photos on the blog when they are finished.
Did you see the photos of the snow we had a few weeks ago? It was really cold.
We are still doing our kiwiphonics and maths cross grouping. We had cross country and Maddie has made a cardboard Abigail!
We have been learning about news because we are going to make our own news broadcasts.
Last week we had auditions for our musical next term. We haven't decided on the main parts yet though. Room 2 are running assembly on Friday. We are looking forward to it.
Keep in touch.
We miss you!

On Saturday the 30th of may the Crusaders had a hard game against the Waratahs at AMI Stadium. There was more turnovers than tries which was annoying. The final score was 20-12 to the crusaders and bye to Robbie Deans.

Leah it sounds like you are having a great weekend. I enjoyed watching some of the girls in the class play netball on Saturday. You are all playing really well together as a team. Does anyone know when Queen's birthday really is?
