Hello,
I'm Leah's Aunty who lives in Washington DC. I see your class has a trip to the Washdyke Lagoon. See how many birds, small animals and insects you can spot. It is amazing how many living things are around you when you keep your eyes peeled on the lookout for them. Especially first thing in the morning when they are searching for food. We have Racoons, Squirrels, Turtles in our backyard. Sometimes Red Foxes come and drink from our pond.
Enjoy your class trip !
